My initiation into the art of Tarot began years ago. I was writing a novel and one of the characters turned out to be a tarot card reader. I knew nothing about the Tarot, and as any respectable writer would do, I researched. Just enough to know the most probable cards to turn up for the scene when my lead character in the novel consulted a Tarot reader, but not well enough to do readings.

Months later, I was at a party with my friends. I had My RWS with me. So we played a game if divination. They'd pull a card and I would "interpret." The reactions I got from them were variations of: "How did you know that?" ... "Did you have a cctv installed in my home?" ... "Have you been spying on me?"

I didn't know how I knew. I was just as surprised at the Tarot's accuracy. And have begun to respect it.

After several months I've become a professional reader. A more experienced reader introduced the Spirit Science website to me. I binge-watched the videos like nobody's business. And I fell in love with the Patch Tarot. I manifested the money and purchased my deck.

The card stock is durable, colorful, and lovely. The first moment I held the deck in my hands the song True Colors by Cyndi Lauper played on the radio. And Patch does show us our true colors. Patch seems deceptively playful, like a child's plaything, nothing to take seriously, BUT the deck is honest. Searingly, true-color honest.

Patch Tarot invited me to dig deeper into the Tarot symbolism and history and relationship with the Tree of Life. These areas of study I sort of ignored during my RWS days because I seemed to have a knack for RWS without need for going deeper. RWS was just so accessible for me to read. But Patch wants me to go deeper into the meaning of the cards. I can't apply what I know of RWS interpretations to Patch. Patch Tarot is its own deck altogether, and I must pay it due respect.

I once read for a client using Patch where even I learned something new about the Universe that I didn't know before. I ended up thanking the client for setting an appointment with me. I said I learned something new about karma and responsibility from the spread she got from Patch.

Thankfully, The Book of Patch, a wealth of wisdom, is also available for purchase. I loooove the Book of Patch. It's a labor of love from the Spirit Science team, and every page of that book is brimming with love.

I have embarked on a journey to go deeper into the Tarot, and Patch is the perfect deck for me to do that with. It has Sacred Geometry elements, Qabalah, a bit of pop culture, Joseph Campbell, and Thoth Deck (not just RWS) symbolisms. Each card is made with love and purest intentions.

I am grateful to Spirit Science for making this 82-pictures of universal wisdom available to the 21st Century Seeker.

Patch Tarot has become one of my favorite decks! I use it just about everyday. I have both 1st and 2nd additions. The cards are very vibrant and colorful. They shuffle real nice and feel smooth in your hand. The artwork is amazing! A lot of love went into making these cards. I would recommend this deck to anyone.

This is the best tarot deck I've ever had, in fact it's the only tarot deck I really loved because of the artwork. A tip that I have is to sleep with a tarot deck under your pillow so that your subconscious mind can interact with your deck when you first get it. I've done readings for people and these cards are always accurate. Sometimes it just gives you the answers you know but you don't want to face. I am going to purchase a spirit shirt while they're still on sale thanks.

 As good as promised! 😊 I love Spirit Science on YouTube, and the ease with which they make large concepts understandable; this deck stays wonderfully in line with that goal while expanding on the card meanings AND integrating broader, ancient ideas, symbolism, and philosophies. The descriptions are deep, yet understandable, and (if you choose to allow card reversals) FULL descriptions for reversals are offered. Easy-peezy! This really exceeded my expectations. Works really well and I *almost* complained about the lack of reverse cards but you can turn them on in the settings. The only thing I wish was better is the quality of the images of the cards themselves. Even the largest versions are slightly grainy and with imagery this beautiful and well-crafted, it's just a shame really. This deck is a really interesting take on traditional tarot and if you aren't sure about pre-ordering the physical deck this is a great way to try it out.
